ABOUT US
We are part of the Intermountain District Church of the Nazarene. While we maintain our Church of the Nazarene roots, we are a church open to all those who are seeking God. We love this community as it is where we not only encounter God but encounter each other, and our stories are forever changed because of it. The beautiful history of our congregation is our ability to worship together with diverse beliefs and styles of worship.
BELIEFS
We believe in the Trinity -
one God, the Creator of all things - who reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ
is uniquely the Son of God and fully human; who became like us to bring us salvation through His life, death on the cross, and resurrection.
We believe that the Holy Spirit
is active in the world, bringing us to salvation and guiding us with God's presence.
We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures
are inspired by God and contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
We believe that all humans
are sinners in nature and action, and all need God's forgiveness and cleansing.
We believe that God
is constantly reaching out to us to enable us to turn to Himself from sin, but that He does not force our actions.
We believe that, through God's grace,
we are able to repent, turn to God, and be welcomed into the family of God.
We believe that we
are able to be continually sanctified and increasingly filled with God's Spirit.
We believe that the Church
is the Body of Christ tasked with carrying out God's mission through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the sacraments of baptism and the Lord's supper
as a means of grace, where we uniquely experience God's grace, love, and redemption in baptism and Communion (Holy Eucharist).
We believe that God can heal SUPERNATURALLY,
and we pray for healing. We also believe that God heals through medical science.
